My first jewelry making experience was just before my wedding in 2004. I had the perfect necklace in mind, but I couldn't find anything like what I had imagined. After a long and fruitless search, I decided that I would have to make it myself. I handcrafted my own wedding jewelry as well as making a jewelry gift for each of my bridesmaids.
I became more involved in the art of jewelry making in February of 2006 when I decided to once again make special handcrafted gifts. A few months later, when I had inundated my friends and family with earrings and necklaces, and still had more than I could wear myself, I decided it was time to share my work with the public.
I am self-taught and I am always seeking to discover new techniques and designs.
In addition to making jewelry, I am a graduate student at New Mexico State University, where I am pursuing a doctorate in cognitive psychology.
I hope you enjoy browsing my collection, and that you will enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I loved creating it!
